As part of the project “START Informatik” we organized a two-day workshop on “Innovations in Informatics Education at Universities – International Best Practice Workshop” at the Vienna University of Technology on March 13-14, 2017.
At this workshop we were discussing and sharing experiences with international guests, which have been successful in integrating quality in computer science studies. The intentions of this workshop were to analyze the reasons and to acquire an understanding for the success of national and international best practice examples at universities. Furthermore, it was aimed at discussing key success measures and implementation strategies to increase the quality in teaching and the diversity among students and scientific staff at our university.
